Faurecia quality at best cost

Faurecia is already a global partner of the Logan program, and is once again helping Renault for Sandero, the second world-car vehicle of the program. Sold under the Dacia and Renault brands, depending on the country, Sandero is currently assembled in Curitiba (Brazil), Pitesti (Romania) and Medellin (Colombia) Faurecia has addressed the automaker’s need to highlight the Sandero’s capacity, price and robustness by supplying six key modules.

Faurecia, Europe’s second largest automotive equipment supplier manufactures the Sandero’s interior and certain exterior parts, in total, no fewer than six elements of the vehicle: instrument panel, door panels, complete seats, acoustic module, bumpers and exhaust system.

Faurecia’s main challenge was to design modules with a high level of perceived quality with as many features as possible. Renault’s specifications for the Sandero focused on high performance, cost-optimized products. They had to respect all European safety standards, and always keep the final cost in sight.
